Baja 500 Opening Day

The opening race day at the 44th Baja 500 took place in Ensenada, Mexico yesterday and the ubiquitous Clint Elliott was on the scene. He relayed a few photos and a bit of raw video. . .

  2. There was a time when I thought that I would compete in the event someday, thank you very much for the memories!

      That’d be so fun to drive one of the trucks. Heck, I’d even like to ride shotgun.

      • It’s a blast, believe me. I’ve had both buggies and trucks, I prefer the buggies. In the only organized race I entered, I took first in class and second overall. But, the sport got too darned expensive over time once the big money guys got into it.
